The definition of Critical Essential manufacturing comes from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Cyber & Infrastructure memo titled “Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience in COVID-19 Response Version 1.0 (March 19, 2020)”. Their description of Critical Manufacturing is as follows:
CRITICAL MANUFACTURING • Workers necessary for the manufacturing of materials and products needed for medical supply chains, transportation, energy, communications, food and agriculture, chemical manufacturing, nuclear facilities, the operation of dams, water and wastewater treatment, emergency services and the defense industrial base.
Hartfiel Automation has been designated as a critical infrastructure supplier in the supply chain of Critical Manufacturing in (12) of these (13) Critical Manufacturing categories.
We intend to remain open and operational, in full compliance with State and Federal law and/or mandates, in the event of any curfews, shelter-in-place orders, and/or other mobility restrictions, so that Hartfiel Automation Inc.
